⚡️ Quick actions and improved map layer menu

User experience is a major focus area for us at Catchwise. Catchwise should be fast and simple in a busy life at sea. That's why we've made it even easier to use the most popular features with quick actions and a more intuitive map layer menu.

What it means for you:
· Easier to access the information you need
· Easier to switch between map layers
· Less hassle

⏪ Playback - Rewind time

With the new Playback feature, you can rewind and view historical vessel movements.

What it means for you:
· Easier to see historical positions of multiple vessels simultaneously
· You can create videos of trips and events

🌓 Dark mode - Easy on your eyes

We've now added a dark mode that makes it more comfortable to use Catchwise in low light conditions.

What it means for you:
· Less eye strain in darkness
· Better visibility of maps and data at night
· Improved user experience during night fishing

💨 Improved wind and current maps

In addition to making visualizations more similar to Windy, which many skippers are familiar with, we've switched the model from GFS to ECMWF. Ocean currents have also received clearer visualizations.

What it means for you:
· Better weather forecasts at sea
· Clearer difference in wind strength
· Easier to see strength and direction of ocean currents

🗺️ Norwegian nautical chart available as background map

We've now integrated the Norwegian nautical chart as an available background map. This gives you better information about shoals, rock cairns, and cables in the area.

What it means for you:
· Navigation support
· Practical for trawling in the North Sea
· Increased safety by avoiding shoals and obstacles
